Home > Company Profile Company Profile What we do PSM is part of DS Smith Packaging and was specifically created in 1996, to meet the changing demands and strategies of companies with regards to outsourcing packaging supply chains. PSM does not manufacture any packaging. Our only business is managing packaging supply chains for our customers, (our core competence), so we have to be very good at what we do! PSM has a 100% track record in achieving all our joint business objectives and targets with all our customers. Even so, financial savings are only part of the overall equation. Packaging may be a commodity but it plays a critical role throughout the production and distribution chain. Consequently to persuade high volume users that they should even consider an alternative approach, we have had to withstand some intense scrutiny and demonstrate performance benefits not only in terms of product specifications, but also in terms of service levels.
